In the will, he is left 50% of the house, with the other 50% left to us, his 4 siblings. He has been living there since Dad's passing, and wants to stay. He can stall the sale for a number of reasons, but I want to know if he would have any squatter's rights to stay much longer or as long as he wanted...the question of squatter's rights was raised by one of my siblings, and although it seems very unlikely, I don't really know what the law in BC would say about this.
