If my former employer accused me to my face of some serious…

My worry is that it already has been shared with my former clients. I have it on record that I have been accused to a former client of "stealing clients." And fraud is a lot more serious than that.

I know that I have been wrongfully terminated at the very least. I would like to know what I should do next? Also is it illegal to tell someone they are a contractor when they are in fact a employee?

I was given a chance to defend myself to my direct supervisor, but this was after our boss had already contacted a couple of my clients. My boss told me that she is partly responsible for the accusations but it was either her job or mine, and she has 2 mouths to feed.

Yes, I was told that I was being dismissed for not following a client contract exactly. I didn't have access to the contracts and no one told me of this one detail on it, but I can't prove that. It would not be negligence because I was never trained with dealing with contracts, and a reasonable person would not have known about the detail; the clients themselves didn't.

I worked there for 6 months, and had sent continuous e-mails asking them to figure out what was going on with my pay checks. They were aware of and gave me permission for every single hour I worked but never caught this small detail until now. And now they are claiming I was paid more than I should have.

And that was theft and fraud. But I know its not, because it was not malicious, or for the purpose of financial gain. I was asking for them to look things over and for help for months. I have all the e-mails so it is obvious it was not maliscious and I was completely open and honest with the employers

Client signed contract for 48 hours. The rate on the contract was 6hrsx8 months. I did not know that I could only work with them for 6 hours a month, and we used the 48 sessions in 5 months. So I am not getting paid for 18/48 sessions although I worked 48 hours (and extra) and gave the client 18 more sessions and terminated me claiming theft and fraud

No. They terminated me, and that was that.

I am also pretty sure they told that client I basically stole from her. But I do not want to contact the client because that would obviously look bad. Would a lawyer do that?

Basically I know there is a slew of illegal actions that were taken against me, but I do not know exactly what I am claiming against them.

Not to mention, the deeper I looked into it, they told me I was a contractor, and I am paying EI and CPP....which means I am an employee NOT a contractor.

Yeah that would be great.

Im more worried about slander than the compensation, although it would be great to get some justice
