VerifiedHello, The reason for the conflict seems to be the very reason for the two benefit plans are in conflict. CPP and WSIB are not normally intended to be paid at the same time. WSIB relate to benefits paid from an insurance plan pursuant to some form of on the job injury and meant to compensate for reduced or eliminated work capacity. CPP is a retirement pension which you would not be eligible for while still working. Few circumstances exist where one could be permitted to, in effect, "double dip" and you should expect both agencies to either seek to claw back or eliminate the benefits paid. You will need to fight this but also figure out what you are actually entitled to based on your particular situation and fir that you need to retain a local lawyer to represent you and review your case.
