If he wants to work while in school then he can apply for an off-campus work permit. Here is a link to the information needed:

I am sure he knows he cannot work until he gets the permit.

We are living in the Caribbean and we have an imigration office you can go where they have the necessary documentation and a person who you can talk to if you have any questions.

What may be a good idea in a case like this with him here and you there is for him to briefly consult with a local immigration lawyer who can explain a bit about the forms and also let him know how much the lawyer would charge to assist him.
If you can afford it then it may be worth while paying the lawyer. He should NOT see an immigratio consultant.
He can contact the Law Society and use their Lawyer Referral Service. He will be given the name of a lawyer and can consult with the lawyer and the first half hour will be free.
He will not be able to get help with forms from Immigration and while there are immigration offices I don't think he can drop in and get help or even be seen.
