VerifiedDespite making payment arrangements, the judgment creditor can still instruct the bailiff to seize goods in your home. Except, in Alberta certain items are exempt from seizure:
A) personal property worth up to $10,000.00 that you need to earn your livelihood
b) a car worth up to $5,000.00
c) household items and furniture worth up to $4,000.00.
The judgment creditor could also compel you to attend an examination once a year about your financial circumstances.
If you decide that you want to retain a lawyer, the Law Society of Alberta's lawyer referral service will provide you with the name of local civil litigation lawyers familiar with debtor-creditor law.

I brought my tenants to the Quebec rental board and I received the court Judgement last week to evict the tenants and all the occupants in the apartment and to pay the three month rent owing. There are two people on the lease - (1) Her ex-boyfriend and (2) herself.
