Under the circumstances you have described, they will have a long bow to draw to try to unwind things to enable them to execute against the home registered in your wife's name.

They will have to prove that there has been a fraudulent preference or fraudulent conveyance and will need to commence a new proceeding to do so. The fact that the two projects are entirely unrelated will more than likely remove any possibility that such an action would succeed. Alleging fraud carries with it serious repercussions if it is not proved - chastisement from the court through 'costs' awarded to the defendant are common in those situations. That is often deterrent enough to prevent vexatious proceedings from being commenced.

It is even difficult for judgment creditors to execute against property where the judgment debtor is a joint owner of property. In this circumstance it would be most difficult.

There is no truth in their being able to 'unlock' a marital asset. That would require the court to look into the nature of your marriage in a similar manner as when there are divorce proceedings (ie. property division and who is entitled to what etc.). It is extremely unlikely that it is going to happen.
