I am not sure how you can do this without disrupting their lives because it sounds like you've been cut out of their lives and to get back in you have to take legal steps.
Ontario Courts have recognized that it's usually in the best interests of the child to have a meaningful relationship with his grandparents. While the Court will not interfere in a very significant way to overrule what parents want for the kids, the Court may give you an order allowing you some access to the children.
It would make sense for you to consult with a family lawyer. It's likely that if you retain the lawyer to write a letter to the parents on your behalf you may find that to avoid Court they give in.
What you can do to find a lawyer is one of the following things.
You can contact the Law Society and use their Lawyer Referral Service. You will be given the name of a lawyer and can consult with the lawyer and the first half hour will be free.
