The first thing to know is that common law spouses are not automatically entitled to any property of the other, which is a right reserved to married spouses. However, the courts routinely are asked to weigh in on the property division issue, and when the common law relationship is long term like yours, you can expect that it will be a 50/50 split or very close.

Thus, even though the home isn't the Matrimonial Home (because you're not married) and you're not entitled to any possessory rights if you're not on title, a judge would definitely give you a share of it. Maybe 50%. Maybe more if you can show that you paid for the majority of it and did the majority of the upkeep, maintenance, and renovation.

Same thing with the vehicle, and any other assets accumulated over the course of the relationship. The vehicle, being in your name, is yours to do what you wish with. But getting it will involve going onto her property, so don't rush over there and break into the garage to get it. Let cooler heads prevail.

You're going to need a lawyer for this, but it shouldn't cost much if reasonable and quick negotiations lead to a settlement.
