yes my ex-husband is Canadian and living and working in Canada now
I don't know exactly how long he has lived in Canada; it's about 10 years
his father is currently on Kuwait and; my husband sent A power of attorney from Canada to his father here in order to divorce me for unknown reasons. Then his father went to Kuwaiti court and divorced me in behalf of my husband on Nov. 25'th; 2009

I am asking about the following:

- I am going to demand my rights as a divorced woman from my ex-husband on Kuwaiti courts; what are the rights implications of me from my ex-husband as a divorced woman based on the Canadian laws (laws of Toronto) because my ex-husband in living on Toronto ?
-Where and how can get a certified text of the laws of Toronto (which related to the rights of the divorced women or which is useful for my case) in order to apply it on the Kuwaiti courts? Since the Kuwaiti courts allow to apply the laws of the country of the husband. can you provide me that text or guide me where can I get them. I need them urgently within two days because I am going to the court next Wednesday.
- If I the court decide to give me my rights as a divorced woman (whatever based on Kuwaiti laws or Canadian laws) from my ex-husband; how can I get them from my ex-husband while he is living on Canada and has no residency on Kuwait with the knowledge that I am not Canadian and I am not resident in Canada.

my status before getting married to the mentioned man : divorced
my ex-husband's status before getting married of me: divorced by Canadian women and has three daughters (all are children)

but i did get your first question as well; what do you mean by assets that I accumulated?

No we did not purchase any assets together

But I heaed that he purchased some thing like that for his own on Canada (I think dental clinic) during these three months and before the date of the divorce.

And really I don't know why did he divorce me? was that marriage necessary or useful for him to do something on Canada and he married me only for that purpose?

Thank you for your answers; but I've gone through that link; I found that includes the procedures for getting divorced while my husband has already divorced me on Kuwaiti court. my question is: does that link include the divorced women's rights after divorcing?
