I am sorry for all these questions but this isn't adding up.
There is no basis for them to be going after her. While she was one of the owners at one point she wasn't when they did the work and she has no contractual relationship with them at all.
She should tell them they have the wrong person and she does not want to hear from them any more at all.
She can tell them that she considers their communications to be harassment and that if they continue to harass her she will consider her legal rights as this has nothing to do with her.
She is not under any obligation to speak to them or assist them.
