VerifiedYou are able to appeal a decision of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission as a matter of right on a question of law to the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. This is provided for in section 36 of the NS Human Rights Act.
Please be aware, however, that you have a short window of time in which to appeal. In Nova Scotia, Part 18, Rule 90 provides for a 25 day period after the date of the order of the commission within which to appeal.
