We have a seperation agreement

I had a lawyer - she is now a Judge. She didn't want me to sign the agreement. I did sign to allow for a stop from further anguish on my children and myself

There were assets - he took all equipment/materials and cash/investments. I got the family property, which was in a remote location and very difficult to sell

Child support came for our youngest daughter, only - through Family Maintenance - in 1999

Oldest Child - Daughter - 30 - self employed - Book Keeper. Also has double major in Reclaimation

Second Child - Son - 29 - self employed - Pre Engineered Steel Building Sales and Erection. Also Mechanical Engineer Technoligist

Youngest Child - Daughter - 24 - High School Teacher

I'm hoping to get some compensation for myself.

At the time of my divorce I was completely despaired, exasberated, exhausted and made an unresponsible, irrational decision to accept an agreement that was absolutely unfair for the simple reason of getting that man away from our children.

I did not receive child support or alimony, never mind educational costs for our children.

Once I accepted the manuipulted agreement I was able to travel out from isolation for work. I worked as an equipment operator and was barely able to make enough to see all our children through school, college and university. Though the children remained in my home for the most part, I had to work construction jobs away from home.

I have waited until now to pursue this because our youngest has just recently moved from my home and her income as a teacher allows for her to pay most of her expenses.
