OK. You may have her a little bit less than 50/50 but for simplicity sake, just to give you an idea of how this might work I will use the 50/50 cut-off and do a calculation that's reasonable but not necessarily what the Court would do because it's discretionary.

In Ontario if the mother had Rachel (I have a Rachel also) 100% of the time you would pay her $481 per month for basic child support.

In Ontario if the you had Rachel 100% of the time the mother would pay you $444 per month for basic child support.

So, one way of calculating what you should be paying is take the $481 and subtract the $444 which leaves $37 a month. Given your incomes are almost identical and you each have her the same amount of time this makes sense.

In terms of special expenses such as school activities you should be paying 52% because you earn $52K and this is 52% of what the two of you earn together.

You will need to bring an application to Court to vary the order based on a material change of circumstances (the change in how much you have Rachel).
