I have received my performance...

I have received my performance evaluation at work and my manager rated me saying I did not achieve expectations. For the past 9 months I have been doing the daily tasks of another team member who is at her sick leave. I also did some tasks of my other team members when they're off to work. I did not get a raise on my salary and last month my manager asked me why I have not been performing very well on my job. I replied and said that it is propably because I have too much on my workload. We have a new member who replaced other team member who is sick but she did not assume the job . so it is still with me.I have been in and out of my manager and director's office and small mistakes I have , they have been interogating me. I got stressed and sometimes I get so tired of jusifying my actions already. Now, the doctor said I am undergoing stress. I was so upset because my director even told me that I am a negative energy in the team and she do not think I contributed something in the team.

Is this a harassment? When your Boss interogates you most of the time and tells you that you are a negative energy in the team and while you have proved your worth still they tell you that you have not contributed anything in the team? Because it has caused me stress already when I go to my work I feel fear and I feel paranoid.

It's not necessarily harassment and unless you feel it's based on your gender, or race etc then it's not the type of harassment that you can complain about to the Human Rights Commission.

If you feel the conduct is making the workplace intolerable it may be that you can successfully claim constructive dismissal. That is where an employee is basically driven to quit because of the conduct of the employer. If that's the case you would be entitled to damages for wrongful dismissal but because you've only worked there a short while the most you would be entitled to would be pay in lieu of a couple of weeks notice.

If this is something you wish to consider it's essential that you first consult with an employment lawyer.

Started this new job and a month into it, I was temporary laid off (due to COVID) for a month and a half or so. I then resumed work for another month (2 in total so far) after which I was put on a Performance Improvement Plan for 30 days which I had to sign. Two days ago my 30 days were up. Yesterday I actually called in sick and my Director called me on my cell, initially told me I have to take the Covid test in order to return to the office. She called me 3 hours later to inform me that I no longer had to do the Covid test as after an evaluation of my PIP, they decided to terminate me based on performance, despite my great Quality Control spot checks they performed on me (they record all calls) which clearly indicated that I was doing my job right, i was saying the right things, with passion etc but I wasn't selling so I didn't hit the target set to me.
