We live in Alberta, we have a duplex by that we allowed our daughter and her two friends to move into. We had a verbal ageeement with the two friends that the three (my daughter and the other two) would split the rent three ways. Last week, I got a text from one the roommates that they had been in a fight with my daughter. They texted her that they didn't want to live together anymore. My daughter got her clothes and came to my house. And said fine, I'll be out at the end of February. The next day the roommate has asked the rest of my daughters things and told her they were on the front porch and to come and get them. Meanwhile the renter was sending me texts accusing my daughter of a bunch of things. I tried to calm the situation but helped my daughter grab her belongings. Now I need to go forward with trying to end my verbal agreement with the other two tennents. My daughter doesn't want to move out but obviously because of the circumstances, they can't live together.
