VerifiedI don't know how the French system works but the pension will be considered when you review your assets in terms of working out a settlement. Canada cannot make an order about property or pensions in other jurisdictions but can consider them as assets.
In Canada you have a right to share in his pension.
You should consult with an experienced family lawyer because this issue of extra-jurisdictional assets makes things a bit more complicated.
