That sounds like a good idea in terms of getting her lawyer to be the one to advise her.
What some clients do wrong, to be frank, is they go for a less expensive lawyer and end up racking up more bills if the lawyer doesn't really know what he/she is doing.
You don't need the top lawyers to assist you but make sure you retain someone who is experienced. You should hope she does the same.
Probably your best move is to retain someone right away and start things off coming from your point of view.
