You are in a very difficult position. The lending institution is going after you because they can find you, and you have pockets. You have no agreemnent with your friend to have her pay you back, so you can't sue her for breach of anything.
You could stop making the payments, and force the leasing institution to repossess the car. But they don't have to. They can sue you on the guarantee, get judgement and seize your car! And it would ruin your credit in the process.
