I think we may have a misunderstanding in my question, or I don't understand your response correctly.

To your comment "Acknowledge her courteous favour". I have done so. I was very greatful to have the children with me while she traveled out of the country for over a week. This is the second time she has done so. The first time she did, I was not aware of it. I learned from my children (ages 12 and 8 at the time) that they were left with various family members. This was disappointing and upsetting news. I expressed my concern, and was very greatful of her decision to inform me prior to here leaving, and the choice to have the children with me.

Piece of the puzzle you're missing. Just this past weekend, we agreed to a visitation arrangement different than the agreement. As it turned out, she re-nigged the alternate arrangement. A disagreement began, and she reminded me of the "courtesy" she provided when she left the country.

Your response of "we're both right" is encouraging, presuming you are referencing my hope that it "is my right". Can I take your response of "we're both right" to the bank? (aka my divorce attorney). She is the primary custodial parent. But in her abscense, am I more than just the logical choice? I know it's all about the kids, and I hate like hell that I have to resort to legal muscle in these instances. In these times, I feel hopeless.

Her financial picture is far better than mine. The idea of my attorney returning to court reminds me a familiar sound - ca-ching ;-)
