This will be very difficult if you do not know what jurisdiction she filed or intends to file in.
First thing to do is contact the court clerk in the county where service had been attempted, and ask for any pending matters using HER name as the complaint, not your name as the respondent. You may also ask at what procedural stage the case is at.

So let me just give you the jurisdiction issue. If you are served pursuant to Quebec law, you will be required to appear, or the case will be heard "in absentia" and in a civil case this is usually a default judgment.

Once all the options for appeal have expired, the judgment can be presented to a NJ court for affirmation and enforcement as a Foreign Judgment.

In the short of it, depending n the complexity and amount involved, and her willingness to sue, the judgment could find its way into a US court house for enforcement. She may well have sued in NJ, which would make things a little different and very enforceable. Her jurisdiction claim would be residency of the defendant, and location of assets,
