Customer Question

I would like to appeal an endorsement made on January 28 in Superior Court of Justice, Family Court, in Oshawa. I believe I have 30 days but the 30th day, fell on Saturday, February 27, can I still file my appeal on Monday, February 29?

Yes.

If the last day falls on a holiday then the next day counts as the last day.

Saturdays and Sundays are included in the definition of holidays.

Let me know if you need any further clarification.
