Child custody is never etched in stone.
So if the other parent believes that it's not best for there to be shared custody if you are living with someone that parent can seek to vary the order even if the divorce has been finalized.
Then the Court would have to decide what is in the child's best interests.
But in most cases when one parent dates it's not going to be possible to show that shared custody is not best.
On the other hand if you are going to be dating someone who has a substance abuse problem, a criminal record etc then it could be a problem.
Do you see what I mean?
But this is always going to be the same issue, divorced or not.
In terms of financial issues dating someone will not affect any division of assets or support.
But living with someone can affect support.
It depends on what is in the agreement and on the facts.
