We are trying to nest for the past 2.5 years during iur separation our kids our 12 and 15.and for the most part, we have done well by putting the kids needs first. helping the best we can with certain support moms getting our youngest son to and from school. The oldest now gets a ride from his cousins and takes transit home. Due to logistics and my ex wifes ability to work out of the house, and my employment being up to 1 -2 hours away, it has made more sense for her to do more car pooling to from school. That being said i'm on board at least 3 out if 5 nights helping take them to hockey, soccer, etc. activities 3-4 times a week, then back home. Then I have left to stay elsewhere. ( during the winter i stay every wednesday and i get them every weekend ) But now that skiing is over we have switched to im there every wed. and every other wekend.she wants to stay at the house more. To the courts look at all at "time spent" vs just staying overnight? i want to stay there 1/2 the time but cant physically get him ( without losing my job ) before 5-6. and she dose not like him in after care that much. What if I don't actually stay in the house 45% of the time but "spend 45%" of the after school time with them? Does that count for anything??
