Hi there, i was charged with assault with a weapon 267(a) and was released after sighning promise to appear in court. I went to court on the date i was called. But surprisingly my name was not on accused list of the court room i was supposed to appear in. So i went to court reception to find out. The police officer on duty in court room checked his computer and told me that there were no charges filled i court against me so he couldn't find anything and told me that i was free to go because the officer who charged me didnt filled any thing in court. He signed my promise to appear form with his name and badge number as a proof that i was in court on the date and time i was told to appear. So i came home. Now after a month my old landlord called me and told me that police came to my old address and handed him summons for me to appear in court again on certain date... he told police that i dont live there anymore cuz i moved to different address. I didnt change my address on my licence yet cuz i was very busy. So i didnt recieved any phone call or anythkb
