Customer Question

This person got caught shoplifting back in first week of February. Hired a lawyer. Crown said they haven't received anything yet. And the court date is next Wed. Do you think the store has dropped it and didn't send it in. I hope so. Nerves are just about gone

That is not how the process works.

The store did not charge you. The police did.

So the store doesn't send anything in.

But it is possible that this will not go ahead.

You do have your own lawyer so I am sure the lawyer has told you how this is likely going to be treated but if not let me know.
