log4XY = log4X + log4Y

write in simpler forms log4 (XY)

log4XY = log4 (X)+ log4 (Y) (note: 4 is base)

2.)

The graph of ​f(x) = x^2 + 4x + 5 can be obtained from the graph of y = x^2 by moving the graph of y = x^2 two units to the left then 1 unit upward

3.)

Final Amount = (12000)(1 +0.04/4)^(4*2) = \$12,994.28

4.)

n = log2 / log (1 + 0.02/12) =416.2347849 or approx. 416.23 months

5.)

y = sqrt(x + 5) + 7

6.)

f(t + 2) = 5(t + 2)^2 –2(t + 2)

f(t + 2)= 5t^2 + 18t + 16
