Hi,

Thank you for the new request. I'll keep you posted.

Hi again,

Were you given any examples or hints about how to go about this? Every path I have gone down has quickly become ugly and unwieldy.

Thanks,

Ryan

Customer reply replied 1 year ago
I think most of the stuff I send you are really complicated and turn out to be ugly.
There are multiple ways to do them by rearranging the integrals. But there is no way to know which path is the easiest expect trying them all out or predicting the best path.
Tutor: Ryan, Engineer replied 1 year ago

True, but I've usually been able to slog through it. This time, well...

I have integrals for part a, taking vertical slices through the region. However, they are ugly and not very amenable to solving analytically. Can you use calculators to evaluate the integrals, or are you expected to do everything by hand?

Customer reply replied 1 year ago
I'm expected to do them by hand but if it turns out to be impossible or takes very long time, use the calculator and make a note.
Tutor: Ryan, Engineer replied 1 year ago

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to opt out of this one. Maybe I'm missing something that I'll kick myself for later, but this is turning out to be too complicated and time-consuming.

Is there any possibility of an extension?

If you can't answer the questions, you can direct them to another tutor who is able to post the solutions within an hour. Otherwise I need a refund.
and please don't make any offers and ask for more money like the last time.
Thanks!
