When you say you have "reset this key two previous times" what does that mean? What did you do?

10 min. 3 times in the on position ,after third time key relearned car starts

don't want to call now, maybe tomorrow or sunday

You shouldn't have to relearn it, ever. If you are having to relearn it, I would be concerned that the theft deterrent module needs to be replaced. It should not be "forgetting" your key like that, and eventually, it may stop relearning it, too.

do i need to get this checked out at the dealer?

If you aren't inclined or equipped to deal with this repair yourself, yes, I would have them look into it, see if there is a software update (there may be) and perhaps put a new theft deterrent module in it for you, if they can't find any other cause for this problem.

any estimate of cost

The part itself is about $200, and you can probably expect to pay $200-300 for replacement and reprogramming of keys, so ballpark about $500 total.
