ok for this issues the car need to be scanned with a code reader to find out what codes are in the computer to move forward with the seat diagnosis

Ok I will get that done. Is there anything else I can do repair-wise prior to a code reader?

not much in this case, when these system fail they will throw a code, the code reader has to be BCM compatible to read the codes as well
