I bought my CTS...

I bought my CTS in October. They went thru everything with me. NOW it is asking me to type verify my password. I cant rremember it and is this right?

Mechanic's Assistant: What year is your CTS?

2017

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your CTS yourself? What have you tried so far?

It gives me 3 options. type in password, remind later or dont remind when I hit dont remind it asks me when I start up again

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?

Its a brand new car. The dash did tell me one that they were trying to fix the problem and it gave me an error code....like maybe 504
