Hi Pearl. I had my SRX checked at a Jiffy Lube for the Service Rear Axle notification.

Mechanic's Assistant: What year is your SRX?

2011

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your SRX yourself? What have you tried so far?

I had low oil level in differential. So I replaced the oil, but notification wasnt cleared.

Mechanic's Assistant: When was your last oil change?

About 3 weeks ago, for the differential oil.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Good afternoon, I hope you are doing great. My name is***** am a Cadillac technician, and I would be happy to answer this for you.

If you do not have access to a scan tool to clear the codes then the next best thing will be disconnecting the battery for ten minutes and letting the modules reset. This will clear the codes and reset things back to the right parameters. Let me know if you have any further questions :)
