I have a 2003 Cadillac cts. I drove it for about 4 minutes

Customer Question

I have a 2003 Cadillac cts. I drove it for about 4 minutes and it died on me. Could not start it again until the next day. It ran for about 4 minutes and stopped.I have already replaced the crank shaft sensor and the sensor that is on top of the engine (the one they said to change at the same time.) both were changed a year ago. I also changed what I think was the ecm, the one to the left (as your looking at the engine) of the manifold in front.
when it did start the following day it almost smelled like it was flooded. Any clues as to what could be the issue? When the codes were red there was a vacuum leak and a misfire in cylinder 5. The car has had the vacuum code for some time so I do not think that is the cause. I also do not think it is misfiring because for those 4 minutes it sound normal. not a rough idle or anything.
I attempted to start with starter fluid and it would not start. The next day it started again.

Need to make sure if you have ignition spark and injector pulse when it happens.
