JA: Did you test the battery with a voltmeter? And have you ever changed one before?
Customer: We put q load test on battery and checked good - 14.1 Volts.

Did you happen to jump the vehicle at all when the battery went dead?

Have you checked for blown fuses?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Did not jump the battery. We put the charger on it over night. Checked fuses under the hood, all were good.

Thank you.

Can I start by getting your VIN?

Thank you!

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
We tested with a heavy draw on the battery, twice and after test bolts were down to 8.9 volts overnight.
Expert:  Amedee replied 1 year ago.

Thank you for that information. The battery voltage sounds very low.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
why did you ask if it has been boosted. Should we boost it.
Expert:  Amedee replied 1 year ago.

YES< I would boost it. The battery could be bad or you could have a bad connection at the battery

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
We booster directly to the battery. The radio started to play. I can not turn the key off , so presume it will shut itself off.
Nothing else changed.
