this wouldnt be a programming issue?
Expert:  david craig replied 11 months ago.

in my opinion yes it would be, but i like to make certain that the wiring is good. but thats your call obviously. i would think it need reprogrammed. i just want to give you as many resources as i can

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
is it normal to swap engines and the computer needs reprogrammed?
Expert:  david craig replied 11 months ago.

it is fairly normal on todays vehicles yes. now if you didnt have the appropriate readings and grounds at the dlc, i would think not. do this, disconnect the connectors at the computer and reconnect them. look at the grounds in the area also. make sure nothing is loose or corroded.
