Hello. Is this issue mostly when then engine is cold?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
No when sometimes you start it and it's quite for a while then times it's as soon as you start it and today it's intermittent really weird yesterday was loud really loud top side underneath and today after changing the oil pump and screen gasket a plug and valve that the dealer gave me
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Just a light tapping but you can hear it enough that it's noticeable
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
also there are no engine codes and no misfire codes at all

So, this happens regardless whether the engine is cold or hot? There is a TSB for your truck, but it pertains to ticking when the engine is cold for as much as 10 minutes after starting. Doesn't necessarily mean that it will tick every time you start it.

My oil pressure at idle is 8-9 psi

wow that's low. Let me check into something. There are a few TSBs for this. One of which is regarding the use of incorrect oil filters resulting in internal engine damage. I will be back i a few minutes.

I'm looking at it as we speak on my autel scanner it's says 11.02 engine oil level switch says low and engine oil pressure switch says ok

there is a tsb for that as well. let me attach them
