My Cadillac Stabilizer AB light has come on my dash board.

Customer Question

My Cadillac Stabilizer AB light has come on my dash board. what does that mean?
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: No and where are they located?
JA: What is the model/year of your Cadillac?
Customer: 2007 Cadillac Escalade
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I haven't tried anything so far. Can I fix it myself? How much would it cost to get it fixed at a Cadillac Service station?
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know? I'm not sure of the exact price, but there's only a $5 deposit. The rest of the price information will be on the page I send you to.
Customer: First of all where is the place that I can find the fuses?

Hello my name is***** am an ASE Master Technician and I am glad to help you out with your question.

Expert:  Dan replied 12 months ago.

The first thing you need to do is scan the stability system for codes. Since the light on the dash is on, this means there is a code in the system. We need that code to be able to diagnose this problem as this could be a few different things. I would not worry about checking fuses until the codes are read.

Please reply to this if you need more help and we can continue this conversation. If you are satisfied with my service, please rate at the top of the screen. Rating does not close out your question. Remember, sometimes it is difficult to completely diagnose your vehicle without being there, but I will try to give you the best answer I can. If I am not giving you 5 star service, please let me know what I missed.
