I have a 2009 escalade every time i start my car dvd reads

Customer: ***** *****! i have a 2009 escalade every time i start my car dvd reads error. if i pull it out and put it back in multiple times it starts too work. very annoying. why does this happen ???

Customer: sometimes it works sometimes not. i have tried cleaning the system with a disc cleaner sometimes that works sometimes not

Cadillac has a message on this to clean the DVD player, using low psi compressed air then a CD cleaner. If it still occurs then try another DVD, if it still occurs then replace the unit.
