My '05 Cad Deville was overheating when driven above 70 mph.

Customer Question

My '05 Cad Deville was overheating when driven above 70 mph. The radiator was drained, water, antifreeze, and stop leak pellets were added. Also, the front of the radiator was power washed. Everything now appears to be fine at 60 mph. Do I dare drive above 70? A friend suggests the radiator be replaced first. Do you agree?

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you today.

Does your friend also replace the left rear tire when the right front has a hole in it?

I dont see any reason to replace what appears to be a perfectly fine part. If the radiator isnt leaking or clogged I personally wouldnt replace it. Its already shown its capable of working or it wouldnt be running normal at 60.
