Lift gate lift gate motor does come Attempt to move the door, replace the lift gate shocks, the motor isn't strong enough to lift the door without the shocks. If all that is ok, the lift gate module must be scanned for codes to be sure what the problem is, but the most common failure is lift gate shocks or the lift gate locking latch. Good luck.
