2002 dts: deville..replace abs module (ebcm)..replaceing

2002 dts deville . replace abs module (ebcm) for code c1214 . after replaceing abs module no more code c1214 . but now i get code c1246 (low brake pads ) car dose not have brake sensor .

Did you get your module from a dealer, or parts house? You either have the wrong module or a bad one. These modules are vehicle rpo specific, meaning they are preprogrammed for a specific vehicle, with specific options. If you got the module fromn a dealer, have them verify the part number against the vin number of your vehicle to make sure they gave you the right one.

thanks scote .i did get from a parts house and that what i have been telling them to . i just needed someone to check with this problem again thanks . ozzie (ozzie trans shop & gm repair)

Your welcome. I have had alot of trouble with rebuilt modules. My experience has been that if you replace a module and gain a whole new problem---module is junk.
