Thanks for choosing JustAnswer.
My name is Vladimir.
The code E52 indicates that the ECM ( Engine Control Module) memory has been reset.
This usually happens when you disconnect the battery.
E26 -"Shorted throttle switch circuit"
E27- "Open throttle switch circuit"
These faults could be caused by a faulty Idle Speed Control Motor( the throttle switch is a part of the ISC motor) or related wiring.

The car engine also cuts completely off when driving down the road and has to be restarted while the car is moving. Could this problem also be because of a faulty switch circuit?
Expert:  Vladgmru replied 8 years ago.
Yes, it could be, but should be verified. There are troubleshooting charts for each fault.
This swicth informs the ECM about throttle lever position. When the throttle is released, the switch contacts should be closed , that allows ECM to control IDLE.
When you press the gas pedal the swicth contacts are opened and the ECM does not control IDLE.
