Is it violation of the law when a neighbor installed a security camera on his wall frame at his property line but pointing the direction directly to adjacent neighbor's rear yard but not his property. The adjacent neighbor's remedy to call the police or
must go to the Court? Thanks.

There isn't a violation of California law under these circumstances. However, there may be a local ordinance or homeowner's association CC&R or rule (if you are in an HOA) prohibiting the practice.

You can have an attorney send a demand letter to the neighbor to remove the cameras.
