I WAS WORKING FULL TIME. I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR ANOTHER JOB.
HELLO, I WAS WORKING FULL TIME. I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR ANOTHER JOB. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A RECRUITER (GRETHEL MARTINEZ) AT AEROTEK AGENCY ASKING IF I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN COMING IN FOR AN INTERVIEW FOR A POSITION (NETWORK MEDICAL MGMT) I SAID YES AND WENT IN TO MEET HER. ONCE SHE EXPLAINED THE POSITION I ASKED IF THERE MIGHT BE ANOTHER POSITION BECAUSE I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN A "CALL CENTER" SITUATION, OR SITTING IN FRONT OF A COMPUTER ALL DAY. SHE THEN STATED SHE HAD A PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR POSITION WHICH WOULD BE WORKING A LITTLE MORE WITH PATIENTS. I SAID THAT SOUNDED BETTER AND I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THAT POSITION. MS MARTINEZ SAID SHE WOULD FORWARD MY RESUME AND GET BACK TO ME. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM HER THE FOLLOWING DAY STATING THIS COMPANY (NETWORK MEDICAL MGMT) WANTED TO HIRE ME BASED ON MY RESUME. I SAID YES. MS MARTINEZ STATED I WOULD TRAIN IN ALHAMBRA, CA FOR TWO WEEKS BUT THE POSITION WAS IN EL MONTE, CA. I AGREED. ONCE I STARTED I MET THE MANAGER, SHE BEGAN TO SAY HOW MUCH I WAS NEEDED THERE AND HOW SHORT OF STAFF THEY WERE. I APOLOGIZED AND INFORMED HER I WAS TO TRAIN FOR TWO WEEKS THEN WORK IN EL MONTE. SHE TOLD ME NO, I WAS WORKING THERE AS A UTILIZATION MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I NOT WANTED. ON MY BREAK I CALLED MS MARTINEZ AND INFORMED HER OF THE SITUATION. SHE SAID SHE WOULD SPEAK WITH HER BOSS AND GET BACK TO ME. ONCE SHE CALLED ME SHE STATED THAT ALHAMBRA WAS SHORT AND HER MANAGER SAID I WAS GOING TO WORK THERE. I TOLD HER THAT I WOULD HAVE NEVER QUIT MY JOB FOR THIS POSITION AND I WANTED THE POSITION I WAS PROMISED. MS MARTINEZ STATED THAT POSITION WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. ON MY 6TH DAY OF WORK I WAS RELEASED FROM NETWORK MED MGMT. I NOW HAVE NO JOB. I BELIEVE THIS IS FRAUD. WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE? WHAT CAN I DO? I AM NOT EVEN GOING TO RECEIVE ENOUGH UNEMPLOYMENT TO COVER MY BILLS. … read more
