I work husband who is CEO. He got arrested and suddenly

Customer Question

I work for my husband who is CEO. He got arrested for DV for me and suddenly after the arrest, my work environment started changing. I have seen a counselor once a week more than a year, but I can not to go see anymore because I was told to come to work in office full time. I read online that there is some kind of law that employee must let employer to have time off if she /he is victim of domestic violence. Can I still legally request the employee to take time off for counseling?

I am so sorry to hear this. What state do you all live in? I'd be happy to research this for you.
