California Workers Comp. Question; how many years for lifetime

California Workers’ Comp. Question; how many years for lifetime PD?

My PD Award is 100% PD. My DOI, P&S/MMI dates are the same, when I was 45 years old. How many years will DEU use to calculate my Commutation? (20, 30…???)
Hello.

Lifetime PD, means lifetime PD. If you are 100% disabled, you are paid at the rate of Temporary Disability for life per Labor Code Section 4569(b).

That said, here is a chart for the levels of PD below 100. It maxes out at 897.25 for 99, going up by increments of 16, so it would be 1003.25 weeks, or about 19.23 years.
