SHOULD THE EMPLOYEE SAY THEY HAVE A BLADDER PROBLEM CAN WE REQUEST A MEDICAL EXCUSE NOTE?
Thank you very much for requesting me to answer your followup question.

If an employee claims that health problems require them to frequently use the bathroom, an employer ordinarily has the right to request reasonable medical verification. Under the ADA, employers cannot demand specifics about the condition, but they are entitled to a note from a doctor confirming that frequent bathroom breaks are necessary.

Again, please feel free to let me know if you have any further concerns.

Kindest regards.
