i am currently working at AT&T as a retail sales consultant.

i am currently working at AT&T as a retail sales consultant. it is a part time position and i've been there since january 2011. i have 5 attendance points and i got written up 2 times and i signed them if i get another 2 points in the next six months i will be fired. how can i get fired and be able to collect unemployment?

Unfortunately, if you are terminated for attendance you would probably not be eligible to receive unemployment benefits since you would be considered to have been terminated 'for cause,' which makes you ineligible to receive unemployment benefits.

In order to be eligible to receive unemployment benefits you would need to be terminated through no fault of your own, which means that you would need to be terminated for a reason other than attendance issues.
