How can a CA construction company get out of a Labor Union

Customer Question

How can a CA construction company get out of a Labor Union Agreement?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation and hope I can help.

Unfortunately, if you have a collective bargaining agreement with a union, you cannot 'get out of the collective bargaining agreement.'

If you were to breach the agreement, you could be sued for breach of contract.

Additionally, you could also face unfair labor practices accusations under the National Labor Relations Act for not honoring the collective bargaining agreement.

I wish I had better news to give you, but I hope you appreciate a direct and honest answer to your question.

Please let mek now if you have any follow-up questions.

I already knew that answer. I am trying to find out what my options are to get out. I know there are ways like bankruptcy etc.
