An employee is behaving iratically, and spoke to me (his employer) in a negative manner after being asked a simple question about his last minute travel plans that are puting pressure on our company. He yelled at me, then stormed off. concerned, i called two friends who he would consider to be close, to ask about his mental state, as he does take medication, and they both know about it. He has threatened to hire a lawyer over this. As a concerened employer and friend, did I do anything wrong in doing that?
