I have a temporary employee (through and agency) who has been working for me for 30 days.

Resolved Question:

I have a temporary employee (through and agency) who has been working for me for 30 days. She is regularily missing work due to pregnancy related issue (drs appt, morning sickness, etc...). Is the temp employee protected by CA Pregnancy disability leave act? I would like to discontinue her employement as a result of missing work so often, but also do not want to be in a legal situation.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer.

Temporary employees are still covered by the Pregnancy Disability Leave Act and would be entitled to up to four months of leave if they request leave for pregnancy.
